The owls - We are weather forecasters!

We were forecasting the weather for different seasons today in science.

Year 1 The owls Maths games

The owls had fun this morning using counting on in a maths game.

Junior Monster Disco

We had our largest ever junior Monster disco with 195 children attending in all sorts of fantastic costumes. Thank you for all who attended we raised over £250 for charity.

Year 2 - The Koalas Make Smoothies

The children in the Koala Class had fun learning about writing instructions today. Together, we made a healthy class smoothie.

We used:

• Strawberries
• Bananas
• Soy Milk
• Porridge Oats
• Vanilla essence

Every child had the opportunity to contribute to the making of the class smoothie; carefully chopping fruit; measuring and pouring milk, porridge oats and vanilla essence.  Some of the children were then chosen to help blend the ingredients together.

We all then tried our class smoothie.  We are looking forward to writing our own instructions for how to make it.  Well done Koalas!

Infant Monster Fun

The children at the Infant site have had a fantastic time at their after school monster disco.  It was great to see all of the wonderfully creative costumes that the children wore.  It was also fantastic to see all of our very talented dancers - it was very hard to choose winners from each year group!  Well done everyone!
