 Year 4 were lucky enough to be able to interviewing Mr Cousins about his life working in the coal mines. He bravely answered all our questions for a long time...and everyone was rooted to the spot hearing his tales!

Hosanna Rock!

A huge congratulations and well done to the children in Year 2, who put on a brilliant performance of the Nativity in 'Hosanna Rock' this afternoon.  All of you spoke clearly, and sang so very beautifully.  It was lovely to see so many of you smiling.  It has been an absolute joy working with you all.

You should be feeling very happy, because everyone at St John's is very proud of you all!

KS2 Cristmas Crafts on 1st December

Thank you to all the parents, family, children and staff  who came to start the Christmas season off with our annual Christmas craft night. Activities ranged from Melting snowman biscuits, reindeer food, Christmas soup (hot choc and marsh mallows) Candy Cane reindeers ........

KS2 Christmas Production: Extra Performance Added!!

Due to popular demand, an extra performance has been added for the KS2 Christmas Production, 'Straw and Order'. This show will be on Wednesday afternoon (7th December) at 1:45pm.

Unfortunately, the Monday afternoon, Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning shows are all sold out and tickets will not be available on the door for these performances as tickets must be bought in advance.

Therefore, to avoid disappointment, please buy tickets in advance for the extra performance on Wednesday afternoon.

Infant Christmas Craft Fair

What a fantastic night at the Infant Christmas Craft evening!  

From face painting and Christmas cards, to Reindeer food and glitter tattoos, it was so wonderful to see so many of our children and parents taking part in the craft activities - you are all clearly very creative!  Thank you to all staff and parents who volunteered to run an activity.  

Throughout the evening, the KS2 Choir performed a number of songs in the hall, from Christmas songs, to well-known Pop songs.  The KS2 Choir have been working very hard preparing for many upcoming concerts at this busy time of year.  A special thanks comes from Miss Masters and the KS2 Choir, for everyone's generous contributions towards our upcoming Young Voices Concert at Sheffield Arena.  Your support is very much appreciated.
