Class 6 Memory Assembly
Class 6 Memory Assembly
What a fantastic memory assembly from Class 6! It was wonderful to hear all of the wonderful memories you have from your time at the Infant site and to see the pieces of work you are the most proud of.
We also shared our wonderful singing talents - remember... HAKUNA MATATA!
Thank you to all parents and carers who came and watched the children in their assembly - your support is very much appreciated!

Year one's special visitor
We were really pleased to welcome Mrs Dyer to year one this afternoon to share with us a book which celebrated our differences. We talked about what can make us different and about always being kind and remembering our Christian values.
Year 5 Battle of the Somme Commemoration
On Friday, Year Five were invited to take part in the Civic Commemoration for the 100 Year Anniversary of the Battle of the Somme. They behaved beautifully and made us feel very proud. The Art installation will be up outside the Town Hall until November.

Year One Visit Penistone Church
Year one have had a fantastic time today visiting Penistone Church.
As part of our RE curriculum, the children visited the church and learnt about its features and history.
Father Neil explained to us about how the church was like God's home, and that we were all very welcome in his house!
As a special part of our visit, Father Neil taught the children how to pray, we were very excited to learn a new way of saying Amen!
Thank you for a fantastic day - we certainly learnt a lot!
