The owls - super writing!
The owls did super writing in their 'Big Write' this morning telling the builders what they need in their new classroom.

Cave painting with the Meerkats
This afternoon, the Meerkats have continued with their learning about the Stone Age. The children looked at a range of cave paintings and discussed the themes which appeared in many of the pictures. They then used what they had noticed to create stone age designs of their own using chalk pastels. As the weather was so nice, the children then took their art skills outside of the classroom and recreated their cave paintings in chalk on the playground. A wonderfully messy time was had by all!

Angle Investigators - 3KW
On Friday, Year 3 began learning all about angles. We had an enjoyable lesson finding as many right angles around the room as possible and labelling them.
